1. Public Records Provenance & Authority

Surplus Docket aggregates, filters, formats, and indexes public court records, overage schedules, and tax deed sale registries pursuant to applicable state freedom of information laws and governing statutes, including:

• Florida: Fla. Stat. § 197.582 and Chapter 119 Public Records.
• Texas: Tex. Tax Code § 34.04 and Texas Public Information Act.
• Georgia: O.C.G.A. § 48-4-5 and Georgia Open Records Act.

Surplus Docket is an independent legal data intelligence provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any municipal court clerk or government agency.

2. Subscription & Commercial Data License

Subject to active subscription payment, Surplus Docket grants subscribers a non-exclusive, non-transferable commercial license to use delivered CSV feeds, REST API payloads, and motion dossiers for their internal legal practice, asset recovery operations, or real estate investing.

Subscribers may not re-sell raw bulk feeds, publicly mirror the REST API endpoints, or distribute un-redacted databases to non-subscribing third parties without prior written consent.

3. Disclaimer of Legal Advice

The materials, calculations, statutory benchmark references, and sample motion templates provided by Surplus Docket are for informational and operational assistance only and do not constitute formal legal advice.

Attorneys and recovery practitioners must exercise independent professional judgment, verify case standing on respective county clerk portals, and ensure compliance with local bar association rules.

4. Subscription Billing & Refunds

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time with 1 click in the Stripe Customer Billing Portal.

Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which includes a 14-day money-back guarantee for all annual subscription plans.
