  • Automatic Transition & Cancellation: If you elect to maintain daily docket feeds for your firm, your account automatically transitions to the standard rate of $249/month on Day 8. Monthly Subscription Refund Terms

Surplus Docket provides real-time public records data, proprietary spreadsheets, legal motion templates, and programmatic REST API access that is provisioned and delivered immediately upon payment.

Due to the immediate digital delivery and non-recoverable nature of proprietary intelligence, monthly subscription fees are generally non-refundable once data has been accessed or delivered.

Billing Errors & Service Disruption Exceptions: If you experience a technical error resulting in duplicate charges, or if a documented platform failure prevented you from accessing the daily feed, you are entitled to a 100% full refund if reported within 7 calendar days of the transaction. (Please note: Delivery timing variations or clerk synchronization adjustments described in Section 7 do not constitute platform failures).
4

14-Day Annual Plan Evaluation Guarantee

We want legal teams and asset recovery firms to commit to our annual plans with complete confidence.

For all Annual Subscriptions ($2,490/yr Core or $4,490/yr National Master API), we offer a 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If within the first 14 calendar days of your initial annual purchase you decide Surplus Docket does not integrate with your practice workflow, you may request a 100% refund of your annual subscription fee.

* The 14-day guarantee applies strictly to first-time annual subscriptions and does not apply to subsequent annual renewals or monthly accounts.

5

Single-County Pilot Dossier ($49) Satisfaction Guarantee

For practitioners testing a single jurisdiction before committing to a monthly feed, the Single-County Pilot Dossier ($49 one-time) includes a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

  • No Leads Guarantee: If our court ingestion pipeline yields zero active unencumbered surplus records for your selected county at the time of delivery, you may request an immediate 100% refund or exchange for an alternate county docket at zero charge.
  • Immediate Processing: Refund requests for pilot dossiers must be submitted within 7 calendar days of purchase via our Inquiry Portal or direct email to dockets@surplusdocket.com.
6

Direct Billing Inquiries & Resolution

We are dedicated to maintaining the highest level of professionalism and trust with our subscribers. If you have any questions regarding an invoice, payment link, or renewal date:

Please allow 3–5 business days for approved refunds to reflect on your original payment card statement, depending on your card issuer's processing schedule.

Court Ingestion Schedules & Delivery Timing Variances

Surplus Docket targets electronic dispatch of morning court intelligence feeds by 7:00 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on court business days. However, because court docket synchronization is directly dependent upon county circuit court clerk postings, municipal overage releases, statutory court holidays, and upstream clerk server maintenance:

  • Operational Target: The 7:00 AM EST dispatch schedule represents an operational service target, not a strict time-of-the-essence warranty.
  • Flexible Delivery Window: Morning feeds delivered later in the business morning, afternoon, or following clerk registry reconciliations are timely and considered fully delivered.
  • Strictly Non-Refundable: Minor delivery timing fluctuations, courthouse batch releases, or queue pacing variances do not constitute grounds for refund, subscription proration, dispute, or credit under any subscription tier.
All deliveries scheduled for a given court date remain valid and timely if fulfilled within the corresponding calendar cycle.
